What is a konjac sponge?

A konjac sponge is a sponge made out of the konjac root plant. This plant includes glucomannan which helps maintain skins moisture level and contains many vitamins and minerals. The konjac sponge also has its way in balancing the skins ph levels.

The sebum acid mantle of the skin protects the skin and it's moisture levels. When the ph are balanced to slightly acidic, the acid mantle is at its best to protect the skin against bacteria, allergens, and polution. The balanced ph is around 4.5-5.5.

Not only does the konjac sponge help with protection, it also helps with fine lines and wrinkles. Glucomannan and the nutrients in the sponge are what helps with anti-aging making you look more youthful.
